In addition, through the help of fellow delegate Frankie Lee, the Excelsior Hong Kong Hotel, has offered a block of rooms at a special rate of HK$1,300 + 10% service charge/night/room for September 10 – 13, 2017, first-come-first-served. Reservation deadline is August 10, 2017 (Canada time). Interested parties please contact Andrew Yui for the reservation form.

Programme Arrangements

The following outline programme is for delegates’ preliminary information and preparations for their trips to Hong Kong. It will be further developed into a full / blow-by-blow programme with full details of dates, time, venues and other relevant information. Delegates will also be consulted later on about their interest to join the optional programmes for September 10 and September 12, and based on their respective selections, individual personalized programmes will be compiled for and sent to each and every delegate in the first week of September.

Objective: This day trip is designed to give participants a first-hand experience and understanding of the development of a major economic zone in China, and the co-operation synergies of it with Hong Kong under the Belt and Road Initiative.

Objectives: This programme is to showcase what Hong Kong has to offer as the Super Connector of the Belt and Road Initiative and opportunities. It will cover areas in infrastructural and railway development, logistics and supply chain management, maritime, and urban development.
