Teresa is the Director of Asian Banking at CIBC. She is responsible for developing and implementing strategies and tactics which drive Asian client acquisition and consolidation in Canada and Asia. She helps the Canadian frontline and Hong Kong/China Team to build client and community relationships through business development activities. Before joining CIBC, Teresa held a few senior marketing positions in Hong Kong and Canada at Seiko Time (HK), J. Walter Thompson (HK), DeBeers Diamond (HK), and Marks & Spencer (Canada). Teresa is actively engaged in the Asian community. She serves on the board of multiple not-for-profit organizations. She is Vice-President of HKCBA (Toronto), a member of the Board of Governors of Mon Sheong Foundation, an Honorary Advisor for the Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto, and a Steering Committee member for ACCE. Previously, she served on the Board of Directors for CICS, the Board of Directors for Mon Sheong, a member of the YMCA Corporate Development Committee, and a committee member of Asian fundraising for Mt. Sinai Hospital. Teresa is a recipient of Mon Sheong Foundation’s Lifetime Achievement Award, Mon Sheong Foundation’s Excellent Volunteer Service Award, CIBC High Achievers Award, and Ontario Volunteer Service Awards.

Paul Holden, President & CEO, Burnaby Board of Trade |
Paul Holden is President & CEO of the Burnaby Board of Trade, the City’s preeminent business association with around 1100 members.
Paul was born in London, England and worked in the publishing industry from 1978 until 2010 working for leading companies in London, Hong Kong and Vancouver and joined the Burnaby Board of Trade in 2011.
Paul has volunteered on numerous boards over the years, most recently Vancouver AM Tourism Association, where he was President and Treasurer, Vancouver Coast and Mountains Tourism and the Douglas College Foundation, where he served as Board Chair. Paul was recently appointed to the Board of WACE, an association of Western USA/Canada based Chambers of Commerce. He also coached youth soccer for 8 years for his local youth soccer club.
Paul lives in Port Moody, BC with his wife Bernice and their two adult children.

Emily Mo, Director, Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office (Toronto)

Emily joined the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China in 2001 as a member of the Administrative Officer Grade. In December 2018, she took up the Director post in the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Toronto, the mandate of which is to foster closer economic trade ties between Canada and Hong Kong, and also promote bilateral cultural relations and people-to-people ties. Before that she had worked in different offices of the HKSAR Government.

Charles is born in Hong Kong, speaks fluent English and Cantonese. He graduated from the University of Sydney with a double degree in Bachelors of Software Engineering and Bachelors of Commerce. He has over 15 years of experience in the IT industry and has helped an Australia Fintech firm list on the ASX stock exchange. He is now an avid entrepreneur and investor in retail, wholesale and real estate related technologies. He founded Synic Software in 2017 in Vancouver BC which helps clients adopt technology with a focus on implementing software solutions for them. Synic Software is a registered digital advisor for the Canada Digital Adoption Program.

Christopher Chen is the Head of the Invest Hong Kong presence for Canada, responsible for driving foreign direct investment to Hong Kong. Prior to InvestHK, he was a senior fintech professional, leading growth and CX initiatives for multinational insurance and asset management companies throughout Canada, Europe, and Asia. Originally from Vancouver, he has lived and worked in Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Taiwan, The Netherlands, and Scotland. |
Adrienne Ho, Marketing Manager, Hong Kong Trade Development Council (Toronto) |
Adrienne joined the Toronto office of Hong Kong Trade Development Council in 2018 as Marketing Manager of the Council’s Canadian operations. With a strong emphasis on strategic partnership development, she works closely with public and private-sector multipliers to support Canadian companies from coast to coast in accessing and reassessing their business opportunities in Hong Kong, mainland China, and Asia. She also serves as Mission Manager of various sector-specific Canadian trade delegations in key industries and fostering business connections between Canada and the region. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Waterloo. |

Mr. Joseph Chaung, Founder and President of C4P Inc. He created this company for Product Design and Project Development, Sales and Marketing of new innovative products especially, products of Green and Alternative Energy.
Joseph has more than 30 years experiences in the product design and development industries in the North American, Asian markets and European countries. He successfully developed many new products around the world with many inventors and designers. Joseph is recipient of the Canada Senate 150th Anniversary Medals.
Joseph is the President of the Hong Kong-Canada Business Association, GTA Section, actively assist Canadian Citizens and doing business in and via Hong Kong to other Asian countries. He is also a Director of the Product Innovation Technology Advisory Committee, Humber Institute of Technology & Advanced Learning, Humber College. Joseph also supports many of our Canadian University/College Graduates for many of their start-up projects and business. He is a professional mentor of many of the Industrial Design Graduates so as to encourage many of our Canadian Industrial Designers continue to achieve their inventions from Canada to the World. Being President of the Hong Kong-Canada Business Association and Founder and Immediate Past President of the Oakville Chinese Business Association, Joseph continues to build the best network for our Canadian Business Entrepreneurs to Hong Kong and other countries including Japan, Korea and Germany across the world. Joseph is recipient of the 2019 Most Progressive Award from ACCE (Chinese Canadian Entrepreneur Awards).
Since Joseph supports Asia and Canada Trade & Business Networking, he was invited by Canada Federal Government to join with Prime Minister, Steven Harper and his Trade Mission Team to 2015 China Trade Mission in Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou (Alibaba Group Holding Ltd. Head Office) and Suzhou. He also be invited by Ontario Government to represent Innovative Industrial Company to Japan & Korea Mission in 2015, 2017 and 2019. Joseph also very supports Hong Kong Economic & Trade Office (Toronto), Invest Hong Kong and Hong Kong Trade Development Council for many Trade and Economic events and activities both in Toronto, Canada and in Hong Kong each year.
Joseph was the Co-Chair of the Community Crime Awareness Day Event for years and is also a Board Member of the Mississauga Chinese Business Association. He is now also a committee member of the Peel Region Police Chief’s Advisory Committee in Canada. He also enjoys being Director of Safe City Mississauga. |
